Christian Reilly: Songs of Insolence

Bunbury Magazine – ★★★★★

‘It costs a lot of money to see Bono/The Pope/The Arctic Monkeys live…’

It doesn’t cost a lot at all to see Christian Reilly live. He is consistently one of the stars of the Free Fringe, bringing absolutely blistering and cutting comedic songs to us for free (though do buy one of his DVD’s afterwards!)

No-one is safe from his cross-hairs, turning his sights on modern culture and politics and making it something to be laughed at at the top of your voice. We won’t give away any songs right here because we cannot urge you enough to go and see him. A talent without compare.

This Fringe, we were also treated to a new layer of his set – a  multimedia show! Well worth getting down throughout this run in Edinburgh.

‘Songs of Insolence’ – 1700, The Liquid Room Annexe, until 30th.
